The Sudanese armed forces have reportedly launched aerial and artillery attacks from Dalami and Um Berembita areas onto areas of SPLM-N control north of Tungoli.
The latest shelling was yesterday, according to a human rights observer in Dalami. He said shelling the previous day resulting in the injury of a student aged 23 years called Najla Idris on Thursday as she was her way to school.
He also said that two homes were destroyed in Sukhoi air strikes, with four bombs droppsed on Abri area and two bombs on Dere on 16 April.
The rights activist in Dalami warned that these attacks were discouraging people from cultivating and warned of a worsening humanitarian situation.
