Members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and local residents have reconciled after misunderstandings in Akop County in Tonj State, a senior church member said.

In November last year, several members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church were arrested after the locals complained that the Seventh-day Adventist Church had attracted a large number of local residents compared to other denominations.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Friday, Adventist Church member Mou Ngong Manyuol said that the issue had been resolved.

He praised the government for giving their church a chance to work without intimidation in the area.
