Security talks will resume later this month

Senior South Sudan official Deng Alor has said the negotiations on the security of the border between Sudan and South Sudan will resume later in the month in Addis Ababa, after failing to reach an agreement in talks that ended yesterday.

He said that Sudan refused to accept international arbitration on the issue of border demarcation.

Alor added that both sides are will most likely have to accept the proposed border map after failing to reach a agreement.
