Sudanese security agents have dispersed protests organized by families of political detainees outside the office of National Security and Intelligence Service at Hai al-Amarat in the capital Khartoum on Thursday.

Multiple sources told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that the security agents went and dispersed the protesters and confiscated all banners.

Dozens of political detainees including leaders of the opposition Sudanese National Consensus Force (NCF), members of the opposition Sudanese Congress Party (SCP) and several activists were arrested by the security after criticizing the government decision to raise fuel and electricity prices in November last year.
