Saudi Arabia has handed over a Sudanese journalist Alaa Al-Deen Dufaina to Sudanese security.
Dufaina along with other two Sudanese activists Waleed Imam and Al-Gasim Saeed Ahmed were arrested in September last year for allegedly supporting the civil disobedience protest in Sudan.
A family member of Dufaina told Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday that they had received a notification from Saudi Arabia authorities that they would hand over their son to the Sudanese security on Wednesday.
The location of the other two activists remains unknown.
In early June, Amnesty International appealed to Saudia Arabia not to hand over the detained persons to Sudan due to fears that they may be tortured.
