At least seven people including children have been killed and others wounded by an attack allegedly carried out by the aircraft of the Sudan Air force in Kujuria area of South Kordofan State last Thursday.
Jumma Al Wakil, a relative of one of the victims, told Radio Tamazuj that the Sudan Air Force dropped several bombs on the area causing the death of seven family members including four children. She said dozens of others were seriously wounded.
Some of the deaths including two children were caused by lack of medical treatment for wounds inflicted by the bombing.
The witness insisted that the SAF have been targeting innocent civilians, saying there were no SPLA-N military targets in the Kujuria area, which is in the western Nuba Mountains.
Al Wakil appealed to the international community to put pressure on Khartoum government in order to stop targeting civil population in South Kordofan state.
Ground clashes were also reported in Kartalla area of South Kordofan last Tuesday between the Sudan Revolutionary Front and the Sudanese army.
