Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, several local residents confirmed that hundreds of South Sudanese refugees are arriving daily to the area due to the ongoing war and food shortages in various parts of South Sudan.

They pointed out that the new arrivals are currently experiencing severe humanitarian conditions due to shortages of food and other basic services in the area.

The local residents revealed that the South Sudanese refugees are sharing food and other services with their brothers and sisters who received aid assistance from humanitarian organizations working in the area.
