South Sudan’s National Assembly will hold a third reading of the NGO bill on Thursday after failing to meet quorum during a Monday session, speaker Manasseh Magok Rundial said.
The bill if passed into law would regulate the work of aid agencies and civil society groups operating in South Sudan.
Separately, MP Atem Garang said opening of border between Sudan and South Sudan will serve the interest of the people of the two countries.
Atem added that the two countries should review the agreement on oil transportation due to the drop in oil prices, saying Khartoum is the one who is benefiting from the drop in oil prices.
Sudan previously said it will lower the oil transit fee, following threat from Juba to close down its oil production.
