South Sudan’s Petroleum Ministry has launched a 5 million pound project aimed to reduce the cost of cooking gas from 170 SSP to 130 SSP.
Minister Stephen Dhieu Dau said the cooking gas project will also reduce use of charcoal by citizens.
The project is in collaboration with the Nile Petroleum Company.
The Minster of Youth and Sports Nadia Arop commended the project and called on companies to train local workers.
