South Sudan’s National Football Team is preparing for a 2018 World Cup Qualifier match against Mauritania. The team has recently held intensive training sessions led by Coach Lee Sung Jea.

South Sudan’s National Football Team is preparing for a 2018 World Cup Qualifier match against Mauritania. The team has recently held intensive training sessions led by Coach Lee Sung Jea.

The match will take place at Juba Stadium at 16:30 on Wednesday. This match comes after South Sudan defeated Equatorial Guinea last month.

Eye Radio reports that two Australian-based South Sudanese football players are confirmed to be joining the national team squad for the Qualifier match. Apai Ukuno from the Brisbane Strikers in NPL Queensland and Ajak Panek from Western Suburbs in NPL Victoria are set to arrive in Juba today.
