Russia expresses readiness to resolve Sudan-South Sudan differences

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has reiterated his country’s readiness to help in negotiations between Sudan and South Sudan in an attempt to resolve their disputes.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has reiterated his country’s readiness to help in negotiations between Sudan and South Sudan in an attempt to resolve their disputes.

At a meeting with Sudan’s Vice President Hassabo Mohammed Abdel-Rahman in Moscow on Monday, Lavorv said we are ready now and tomorrow to provide a forum in Moscow in order to normalize relations with neighbouring Sudan Sudan.

The Sudanese Vice President paid a visit to the Russian capital Moscow to discuss promotion of trade and cooperation between Khartoum and Moscow, and Russia’s role to resolve disputes between the two Sudans.
