Ruling NCP at odds over UNSC resolution

Sudanese president Omar Al Bashir said today he wil not negotiate with South Sudan on oil, trade or citizenship until security disputes are resolved.

He said the UN cannot impose its will on Sudan.

His comments came a few hours after the National Congress Party declared it had accepted the UN security council resolution to try to stop the conflict.

In a report to parliament foreign minister Ali Karti announced on Thursday morning that Sudan 'has no choice but to accept the UNSC decision.'
