The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in South Darfur State at the weekend intercepted a four-wheel-drive vehicle carrying counterfeit currency at the entrance gate of South Darfur’s Nyala Town.
Captain Sadiq Adam of the RSF told Radio Tamazuj that the seized counterfeit money amounted to 300 Million Pounds and emphasized their commitment to preventing any attempts to disrupt the economy.
“We are vigilant against anyone who is trying to undermine economic stability,” he stated.
Captain Adam vowed to take action against those he referred to as “mercenaries,” even pursuing them to their residences for accountability.
Additionally, he confirmed ongoing efforts to combat smuggling and drug trafficking throughout Darfur.
