An official of South Sudan’s Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) was killed in an attack by unidentified gunmen in Juba on Friday.
Peter Nyale was shot dead by gunmen in his residence in Juba on Friday night. He was a director of communication.
In a statement seen by Radio Tamazuj, the RRC described Nyale as a very energetic, committed and humble young man who devoted his time and energy to serve his country.
The relief agency said it has declared two days of mourning in the office starting from Monday to Tuesday and work will resume on Wednesday 22 November.
