At least seven people were killed and dozens injured when rockets fell on their homes in Omdurman, northwest of the Sudanese capital Khartoum, according to the emergency and resistance committee.

In a statement obtained by Radio Tamazuj, the committee confirmed that a rocket fell on one of the houses in the Al-Thwara Al-Hara 2 suburb killing 5 family members.

In a similar development, two people were killed and 20 critically wounded when a rocket fell on their homes in the Mayo suburb, according to the Janoub al-Hizam Emergency Room.

Anas Nureen, a member of the Janoub al-Hizam Emergency Room, told Radio Tamazuj that rockets fell on and destroyed Abu Al-Hol Hospital which has not been working.

“The rockets also destroyed Abu Al-Hol Hospital which is out of service and partially destroyed three houses nearby,” he said.
