Robbers broke into the offices of an NGO in Lui area in South Sudan’s Amadi State on Saturday night, several eyewitnesses said.

Robbers broke into the offices of an NGO in Lui area in South Sudan’s Amadi State on Saturday night, several eyewitnesses said.

Lui is a town located in Mundri East County.

The eyewitnesses told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that the criminals forced their way into the offices of Mercy Corps in Lui and took away seven computers, some money and other valuables.

They further said the armed robbers managed to escape after beating some staff members.

The United Nations said recently that South Sudan is one of the world’s most dangerous places for aid workers.
