A conference to garner peace between the Rizeigat and Maalia tribes in Khartoum failed, a negotiation team member told Radio Tamazuj. 

Yusuf Ali Hamed, a member of Rizeigat negotiation team said the two tribes failed to reach an agreement on the peaceful coexistence. He said that the Maalia tribe stuck to the outcomes of the conference, while the Rizeigat rejected it.

He accused the government of failing to breach the gap between the two tribes, and adjourned the negotiation for October 30th.
