The paramount chief of Riwoto County in South Sudan’s Kapoeta State, Yousif Losike Lohai has urged government to fulfill its mandate of providing services to the people.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Monday, Losike said his people lack a range of services, which government should provide.

“They need a lot of things; they need water, agricultural services, roads to be repaired, they need peace and a lot of things, including health services which should be provided for them,” said Losike.

Local residents, he said, entirely depend on non-governmental organizations to provide the needed services, which are insufficient. Losike further said the county is peaceful with no insecurity cases.

He urged South Sudanese to work together for peace in the country. Acceptance of peace is the only way to development, said Losike.

Meanwhile, the paramount chief urged his counterparts all over South Sudan to cooperate for peaceful coexistence in the country.
