Government and rebels force have traded accusations over clashes at Kopera area in Lainya County in South Sudan’s Yei River State on Sunday.
SPLA-IO deputy military spokesperson accused government forces of attacking their position at Kopera near the town of Kaya over the weekend.
Lam said the attack resulted into the killing of four soldiers from their side.
For his part, SPLA military spokesperson Lul Ruai Koang blamed the opposition group for the attack in Lainya. However, he could not provide details about the clashes.
