Rising suicide cases worry police in Juba

South Sudan Police have expressed concerns about cases of suicide rising from either harsh living conditions or family problems, according to police spokesman.

Police spokesman Daniel Justin Boula told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that they recorded seven cases of suicide from October until the beginning of November.

He pointed out that two members of the SPLA have committed suicide, while attributing the main problem to bad living conditions in the country.

Justin underscored that police authorities will carry out investigations to know the reason behind the rising of cases of suicide in South Sudan.
