Internally displaced persons are reportedly returning to Gumuruk County in the Greater Pibor Administrative Area, according to the local Relief Commission coordinator.
He said that 186 households arrived to the county today, noting that they need food and medical services.
GPAA Relief and Rehabilitation Commission Coordinator Okwier Ojullo said the the displaced persons have received their thirty days ration of food assistance but they will need more food assistance to be delivered to them for the month of August.
Most of the IDPs have not been able to cultivate this season and as a result they continue to depend mainly on relief assistance, he said.
