The return of the SPLM/A-IO Deputy Chairman Alfred Lado Gore to South Sudan’s capital Juba has been postponed until further notice, the spokesperson for the group’s advance team announced.

William Ezekiel told Radio Tamazuj that Lado’s scheduled arrival in Juba yesterday is delayed due technical reasons.

“Yes, he couldn’t come, he was delayed, but things happened beyond our control,” Ezekiel claimed. “His return was postponed due to technical reasons, the problem was the means of transport to Juba.”

Ezekial said the Kenyan government was responsible for Lado’s transportation.

Lado is a former environment minister. He defected from the government to Machar’s rebels after the outbreak of civil war in December 2013.
