Teachers who are grading South Sudan’s secondary examinations are planning to strike if their salaries are not paid, a source told Radio Tamazuj.
At least 300 teachers began to correct papers for 910 SSP per week beginning on June 27th. Two two weeks in, the graders haven’t seen a paycheck.
Education officials “are silent and nobody has faced them yet with any news about their (lack of) payment”, a source said.
