Reshuffle of education positions in Unity State

The Minister of Education in Unity state Thab Machar Kuol issued a decree appointing Joshua Nang as the Director of Alternative Education in the state. The minister called on the administration of General Education and all concerned bodies to recognize the decision, stating that Nang is the first director of the alternative education unit which was recently established after disengaging it from general education.

Peter Paul Jok was also appointed as the deputy director of alternative education. By a third decree the Minister of Education appointed Lam Bok Lia as the director of women’s educational programs.

The fourth decree issued was the appointment of Samuel Mabeny as the director of development and capacity building, and the fifth decree appointed Andrew Paul as the director of first aid courses.

The sixth decree ordered the appointment of Joseph Kai as the director for primary education in the adult education program. A decree appointing Jeremiah Gnor as the director of education in Leer County was also issued.
