William Gatjiath Deng, spokesman of the SPLA-IO rebel group, told Radio Tamazuj that their positions came under attacks at Way Station and Yambura areas, but the government forces were repulsed.

The military spokesman pointed out that fighting was still continuing. “The clashes started around 9:30 am, but we managed to repulse the attackers,” he said.

Army spokesman Lul Ruai Koang said he did not receive any report about the fighting in the Pagak area today morning.
