Poor roads and rainy conditions along the Tonj South-Wau town road have affected movement of big trucks carrying commodities in the area.
Tonj South County Commissioner William Wol told Radio Tamazuj that heavy rains hit the area, saying the rains that lasted for two days worsened the road conditions between the county and Wau.
“Big trucks cannot move, but small cars can pass without any problem,” Commissioner Wol said.
He also said that inter-communal fighting between the Tonj South and Cueibet Counties has stopped. Wol claimed that suspects were arrested and that they will be taken to court.
However, he also reported that cattle thieves are still active recently in the area.
