Heavy rains cut short the World Cup Qualifier match between South Sudan and Mauritania on Wednesday after only about ten minutes of play.

The game was stopped by officials in the first half because of torrential rains in Juba Stadium. Officials provisionally rescheduled the match for 11 a.m. today.

The score of the match was tied 1-1 at the time of stoppage. Mauritania’s player Babacar Beiguylli had scored in the second minute and South Sudan’s Dominique Abuyi scored in the sixth minute of the 1st half .
