An accountant working for Sudan’s Railway Corporation in Babanusa town in West Kordofan State pleaded guilty to stealing nearly 150,000 SDG after the money was reported missing in the office last week.
Nagm eddin Abdallah admitted before an investigation committee formed by the railway police that he stole 150,000 SDG meant for salaries.
The accountant revealed that he transferred 125,000 SDG through a bank in al-Muglad town to a man called Abdalla Osman Ismail in Khartoum and that he buried 25,000 SDG in the ground at his relative’s house in Babanusa town.
