Pro-government militia accused of robbing traders in South Kordofan

A group of pro-government militia has attacked 12 traders and stole 1 million SDG from them in Abbasiya Tagali area in Sudan’s South Kordofan State on Saturday evening, several citizens said.

A group of pro-government militia has attacked 12 traders and stole 1 million SDG from them in Abbasiya Tagali area in Sudan’s South Kordofan State on Saturday evening, several citizens said.

Several local residents told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that members of the Popular Defense Forces (PDF) stationed in Balula area attacked 12 traders at al-Wakar market and robed 1 million SDG at gunpoint.

The local residents pointed out that they took the traders to Abbasiya town and that the attackers fled the area after the incident.
