A South Sudanese woman was raped and killed on Sunday evening in Northern Bari neighbourhood behind the SPLA headquarters in Juba, according to one of the relatives of the victim.
The source said that their daughter worked as a teacher in one of the primary schools in Mobile.
The relative said that the incident happened after she hired a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take her to the New Site market. Two armed man stopped her and the boda-boda driver on their way.
The owner of the boda-boda decided to run and left behind the lady, according to the relative. The two armed men allegedly took her to some brush and raped her before killing her on the spot.
