The Education Department in Dilling Locality in Sudan’s South Kordofan State announced that primary school examinations will start on 15 March.
In his remarks to the press yesterday, the director of education in Dilling, Al Tijani Hamoda, said security has been tightened to secure the examinations.
The number of the eligible candidates who are likely to sit for this year is 766 boys and 858 girls, according to the director. He also expressed his satisfaction with the increase in the number of the students by 418 this year compared to previous year.
He noted seven schools in Al Farshaya administrative unit have been merged in one center where they will be provided with food as well as medical services in full coordination with Dilling hospital and Red Crescent office in the locality.
Hamoda revealed that about 105 teachers have been selected to control and observe the examinations.
