Prices of everyday goods continue to rise in El Damazin in Blue Nile state.
A source told Radio Tamazuj that a kilo of sugar has risen from five to six Sudanese pounds, a sack of corn is 175 pounds and millet 260 pounds with the prices of vegetables also quickly increasing.
He said the prices increases had come from the conflicts still taking place in the region and the restriction of trade access with roads being checked and blocked.
