US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday his administration was deeply disturbed by violence in South Sudan and Democratic Republic of Congo.

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday his administration was deeply disturbed by violence in South Sudan and Democratic Republic of Congo.

He told a lunch with African leaders on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly that the US administration is closely monitoring the ongoing conflict in South Sudan and Congo.

Trump pointed out that he would send his UN Ambassador Nikki Haley to Africa to discuss conflict prevention.
