Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir is scheduled to attend the IGAD summit on South Sudan crisis which is expected to take place on Wednesday in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia.
Al Ahram El Youm newspaper reported that President Bashir and his accompanying delegation will travel to Ethiopia on Wednesday to take part in the IGAD summit.
Sudan is playing a positive role in order to resolve South Sudan conflict, the paper reported.
The paper also reported that the recent delay of South Sudanese President Salva Kiir’s visit to Khartoum from Saturday to Tuesday may have been related to the governor’s forum in Juba.
