Pregnant woman and daughter murdered in South Kordofan

A pregnant woman and her daughter were reportedly killed late on Tuesday in Kadugli, the capital of South Kordofan, by a pro-government militia, Jabak Allah.

The attack was carried out at the victims’ home in the town’s al-Nar district injuring three others, including a child. 

A police officer told Radio Tamazuj from Kadugli al-Badeen is believed to have had a relationship with the victim.  The woman was believed to be in the final month of her pregnancy.

The offender is reported to have been arrested according to police sources while those injured are receiving treatment in Kadugli Civil Hospital. Allegedly he is affiliated to the militia, which is led by al-Amir Kafi Taiar al-Badeen.
