Sevaral posters on roadsides in South Sudan showing SPLM-IO Chairman Riek Machar with such slogans as “Through peace let's build South Sudan” have been removed overnight, shortly before it was announced that Machar's return to Juba is delayed for logistical reasons.

A witness confirmed to Radio Tamazuj the removal of posters in at least two locations, including at Nyakuron and at Juba main bridge.

William Ezekiel , the spokesman of SPLM-IO Advance Team in Juba said that they strongly condemn such actions, but they are continuing in the implementation of the peace agreement.

It was unclear who initially put up the photos and who has taken them down.
