Tension has been reported at Sennar University between students belonging to Sudan’s National Congress Party (NCP) and those who support opposition parties. This follows reports of intimidation by the students aligned with the NCP.
There are concerns that this tension could result in larger clashes after newly admitted students were apparently instructed not to participate in demonstrations organized by opposition party members.
