A policeman in Bor market has shot dead three Ugandans for unclear reasons, prompting a protest from the Ugandan business community in the Jonglei State capital.
The incident took place Wednesday at Marol Market in Bor town. The policeman opened fire killing three Ugandans and wounding another two people – one Ugandan and one Darfuri.
The shooter has since been detained.
Bor Mayor Nhial Majak said that he strongly condemns the shooting. He said that anybody who is found shooting in the town will in turn be shot.
