A policeman on Tuesday morning shot and killed three people before killing himself in a bakery at the St. Kizito junction in Munuki neighbouring of Juba, a top police officer said.
The Inspector of South Sudan Police, General Saeed Chaul Lom, told Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday that the policeman locked people in a bakery before killing them.
He pointed out that the policeman killed the owner of the bakery, a policeman and a civilian before killing himself. “The policeman was guarding the bakery. I think he had misunderstandings with the owners of the bakery,” he said.
He noted that the bakery was immediately closed after the incident.
