Authorities in Lakes State are investigating the killing of one civilian and one policeman by unknown gunmen. The victims were killed in two separate attacks in Rumbek town on Wednesday, Radio Miraya reported.
Lakes state Police commissioner, Brigadier Isaac Mayom, said police have launched a search for the suspects. “The relatives of the deceased took the body to bury and the police is continuing to conduct searches from the crime scene and are also taking statements from the different people to get facts of the incidents,” he said.
