Jonglei state deputy police commissioner says a policeman was found dead in Bor town of South Sudan's Jonglei state.

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday, Chol Deng Achiek, said the deceased was attacked and killed by unknown assailants outside his residence on Sunday night.
 
“The incident occurred at 11 pm while the officer was returning from duty. He was hit with a stick and died on the spot outside his house,” he said.
 
According to Deng, no one has been arrested in connection to the murder which occurred in the Referendum suburb but investigations have been launched.
