In a statement after meeting tradition leaders of the South Sudanese refugees, the head of Abu Saed locality police station said they do not know those involved in the burning of houses.

A local chief who attended the meeting confirmed that those who burnt the refugee houses were in police uniforms and were using a police vehicle.

A local source told Radio Tamazuj that the incident caused a lot of damage on the properties of refugees in the camp, but a committee has been formed to assess the situation.
