Police have arrested a man suspected of having killed two people in Anyiel Village in Twic County of Warrap State on Saturday.

The victims were gunned down while enjoying a party. Two others survived the shooting and are receiving treatment at the MSF hospital in Agok.

Ajak Kuach Payam administrator Ayai Deng Malek said, “The suspect shot the first victim in the head and second one on the chest. But the person who is shot in the head is in critical situation.”

Ayai urged the community to avoid carrying guns in public places and close down night dances in the villages.
