Police arrest six students at Khartoum University after sit-in protest

Police authorities on Tuesday detained six students from Shambat campus of the University of Khartoum after organizing a sit-in protest against dismissal of five students from the university recently.

Police authorities on Tuesday detained six students from Shambat campus of the University of Khartoum after organizing a sit-in protest against dismissal of five students from the university recently.

Several eyewitnesses told Radio Tamazuj yesterday that about six students from the Faculty of Agriculture were arrested after organizing a sit-in protest on Tuesday.

The arrested students were identified as Manal Abdullah, Aseil Jaddallah, Wail Faisal, Mahmoud Ahmed Ibrahim, Mohamed Ahmed Nasir and Adam Hassan.

They pointed out that some students are still missing.
