Residents of Pochalla County in South Sudan’s Boma State are complaining of rise in malaria cases, amid acute shortage of medicines in the county.

Residents of Pochalla County in South Sudan’s Boma State are complaining of rise in malaria cases, amid acute shortage of medicines in the county.

Pochalla County Commissioner Jay Adingora Alual told to Radio Tamazuj on Monday that the locals are at risk of malaria owning to heavy rains in the county. He urged international NGOs to come to his county and assist the needy community.

Last month, a child died in Pochalla due to lack of medicines at healthcare centres in the area.
