A government official in Pochalla County in South Sudan’s Boma State said the health situation in the county will greatly improve after the delivery of malaria drugs, other medical supplies and medical personnel last week.
Jay Adingora Alual, Commissioner of Pochalla County, told Tamazuj yesterday that the arrival of the medical charity International Medical Assistance IMA in the county would improve health services in the area.
“The situation is better now. I have seen the conversation has become positive in all corners of Pochalla,” Alual said.
Adingora further said the IMA will work with local health workers to improve their capacity and provide them with incentives.
The IMA team is reportedly made up of six health workers including a medical officer, a clinical officer, a midwife and laboratory technicians.
