Pochalla official complains of insecurity

The Commissioner of Pochalla County in Boma State, Jay Adingora Alual, has complained about rampant insecurity in the area.

Alual told Radio Tamazuj earlier this week that there are increasing incidents of killings and child abductions by cattle raiders from the Murle tribe in the county.

‘Killings and child abductions are happening on daily basis daily,”he said.

On April 4, at least three people were reported killed in Lurwaro area when they were crossing to neighboring Ethiopia.

Also, suspected cattle raiders from the Murle tribe abducted a child in Adonggol area following an attack on April 5, killing one person and injuring another.
