The health department in Pochalla North County of South Sudan has received donated drugs after a shortage, according to Ogebe Omot Commissioner of Pochalla North County.
The top government official in the county indicated that they were still waiting for ARV the drugs that were to be sent directly from Juba Teaching Hospital to Pochalla North County.
“We received drugs only ARVS remaining but we hope soon we receive them too,” Ogebe said
The government official said that doctor in charge of the health centre in the county reports lack of TB and HIV medicines, but he said he was sure they will receive them soon.
The drugs which were received on Saturday came after an earlier report about a shortage of health services and HIV medicines in the county.
