Pochalla health department receives a vehicle for the first time

The health department in Pochalla area of the newly created Boma State has received a new vehicle for the first the time, sources from Pochalla said.

A source said communities are happy have they have received a vehicle for transporting patients from a distance. The only vehicle will help the two counties of Pochalla North and South, which comprise eight payams.

The arrival of the vehicle come after a visit by the National Minister of Health Riek Gai who promoted the only clinic in Pochalla County to hospital level last year, before the county was split in two by order of the Greater Pibor Area Administration.

“It’s the first promise that has been fulfilled so far by government,” said a citizen of the area.
