Sudanese warplanes today dropped eight bombs in the Kauda area of Nuba Mountains, five of which landed in residential areas and three in the hills.
Abbas Adam Kuku, a resident of the targeted area, said that people were sleeping when they heard the sound of the Antonov aircraft overhead.
At the time of the attack there were several people inside the homes that were toppled by the blast, causing two injuries. One livestock was killed in the attack.
